i was tagged to give page 123 line 5,6,7 by louise.
"well dad off to work. too bad. IM on summer vacation so I get to stay home and do whatever i want. WEll, go off join the rat race. mom and i are racking up lots of expenses."
if someone can tell me what book this is i will give them a toonie! for real.

Hmmm... it doesn't sound like it's a very coherent sentence, even for dialogue. If it is from a novel then I would have to presume one of two things: either you have been lax in your transcription of the text, it just so happens that the portion of text which was selected has no third party narration of who is speaking to whom, or the text is poorly written. Most dialogue have some sort of narration to guide the reader... unless there are pictures to guide the reader and that is why no third party narrative guides are required! That would mean that it is a graphic novel, otherwise known as a comic book. Hmmm... there are a father, a mother, and a child involved in the dialogue. The child seems to speak with intelligence beyond his years... I would have to guess "Calvin & Hobbes". Yes, that's my guess. No matter how strange a possibility that may be, I cannot see what else it could be. Let me know.
