New

well my life has been crazy since september. I started off by going to mexico with my girlfriend from university for 10 day trip (alberta included) and had such a fun time. than i got back and got engaged! that was even funner. plans are going well, have hall, dress, church, pastor, etc...rings...jsut little by little. and now im in the midst of looknig for a new car..i think i found one...a nice mazda 3...it goes zoom zoom!

Doug and i went to boomers in 100 mile for a beer...i forced him but we had "fun"

doug is a good man and "towed" me in my kyak when i was tired

it was bad weather for most of the time so we spent HOURS puzzling...equals sore neck!

news stuff

So whats beeen new with m e...well here are some pics and ill tell you what ive been up to. for the long weekend, doug and i went camping (our friends were suppose to come but because we had zero cell service we couldnt connect) one day we got up early and walked around lightening lake...it was 9 km and we took our time, it was fun, after we were done we jumped in the lake...but this photo was beautiful because u can see the reflection of the mountain. We also did another littler day trail. And one day did a bigger hike (31/2 hours) to the three falls...we got stopped about 30 mins in because there was two bears around the corner but we waited for 6 other people to come nad risked it together and never did end up seeing any bears! This last hike was a lot more steep and better work out- sorry no pics of it right now.

This is a pic of me and doug at the lake...we got a couple good pics with the manning lake bear- but alas they are on his camera...we had fun in the cold LAKE!
For a hour or two every day we would spend sitting in this little rocked- in- quiet sitting area- nice place to read- suntan- do crosswords- etc..

Random pic of me and my four best friends from high school. We went to the wedding of a friend from high school, Mark, a couple weeks ago. Great times with the girls...we took the maple ridge ferry back and sat in cmaping chair tanning and eating blizzards while waiting for an hour!!!!

4 facts
Ive learned how to do many maintenance jobs around my house- lightbulbs, fixing things, etc and i realized i could be a handy man if i ever needed to be but i dont like it
2) i have a weakness for frappe(the mocha ones)
3) i worry a lot about my family, sisters, niece, nephew, brother inlaws, dad, aunts, uncles, etc...getting sick...
4)i hate working in ER

4 new things
1) my bike...a couple months old, but its fun
2) wow..i dont have a lot of new stuff.i should go shopping...got back into hiking last year and i very much enjoyed it
3) i guess living back in bc ( 2 years now)ive readjusted well
4)working in icu...

Habits
1)Im always at work at least 10 mins early
2)i usually watch certain shows on my days off (etc, one day dr. phil, one day: csi one day: dog the bounty hunter- im not too proud of that one)
3)always wear my seat belt
4)i always push the tab down before each sip i take of pop

4 things i wanna try
well the thing that i realized is that there are a couple things namely:horseback riding and skydiving and beer and clamato juice.... that im afraid of and really why would i ever need to do that? to prove it to myself? to have a heart attack...i dont think so...but try ok...
1)owning a standard vehicle
2) travel nursing in little random places for a couple weeks at a time
3)getting married
4)playing hockey or soccer.

That about sums it up...nothing too exciting like my sister, louises. Anyways, i guess there is work to be done and i should get back to it...im going camping this weekend and will try blog next week to say how it went!

new stuff

WEll people always say...why dont you update your blog? what is new in your life? I laugh and think...nothing really.
1)ive been working lots...decided im going to try and stay at langley instead of transfering to abbotsford in june.
2) the man who lives upstairs tore down the robins nest that was outside of my door- with that being said im getting sick of hearing birds, all day and all night..
3) i have been bbqing almost every day.
4)i hav e also been preparing for summer. bought a mattress, lanterne and just need a little cd player and im set....
5) i went camping one night randomly for 12 hours with my friend robyn. It was dark when we got there and just morning when we left...but it was still nice to sleep outside.
6) im still upset about the canucks- go ottawa go.
Thats it for me....been going biking almost every day...or walking or running!

the hike

so this is the most pics i have put on one blog post and so what they are mainly of me? Actually....,my friend Dan and I hiked the Chief today. It was good....a little tough going up but done with endurance. Its pretty scary once you get up to that rock climbing business....we were both a little scared...on the way down, as you can see in the last pic, we rid on our asses all the way down (well part way!) Recommend it to anyone for a nice day hike. (rate niceness 9/10, hardness 8/10...but only a couple hour hike round trip so not long)

my family

hello again...thought i d add a couple easter pics...its jackie and annie with nutball and kai...arent they cute? little easter bunnies they are. than there is one of me and ldog...which i look like ive been drinking heavily and louise looks pretty..so i will add another one later and than there is gary playing with kai's diner- shows you how entertaining our dinners are (really i just put up that pic to bother ldog and gary!!)

on the ferry, i gave jackie a makeover. Just some foundation an bronzer and some mascra, can u tell the difference? It looked really nice on her...

day trip

So Today JAckie and I took the ferry over to visit my oma ad uncle al. My oma is turning 84 this weeekend so we went over and brought some treats (which hopefully all my uncle's and oma enjoy!) and we were able to say happy birthday. It was as very nice trip, good to see my oma- she reminds me a lot of my mom!! It was nice. One the way bakc we ran into some construction and we were at the ferry terminal with one minute to spare!! It was an adventure, we were speeding and laughing and having a lot of fun with it- nothing too crazy!

the important things

This is my niece annie, and my nephew kai. (she is one, he is 6 months) we hada family dinner on tuesday were i was able to go early and spend some few quality times with my "kids". Annie was tired, she was jealous when louise held her own kid kai, so louise gave in and taught her the piano and just hold her...They are so precious!!!

rascall flats

Me and Leah were able to take in a concert yesterday, very popular country band...rascall flats. I think Leah enjoyed it more than I. I did like it, but there were a lot of slow songs, made me very sleepy...they were entertaining anyways. I would have to say though of course most of the drama happened on the way home in the skytrain. Leah recently moved to New west minster at "saparton"- very sketchy, especially with that balcony rapist living there...wow..that got off track..anyways, this is a pic of us before we head out for our big night.!!!

So, i got my new bike. It is very nice. Although i have two questions, the back wheel and brake move sdie to side, like the tire is flat- but it isnt. Also, how high should my seat be? should i be able to straighten my knees all the way?

My First Blog Experience

Hello. So i tried doing myspace but couldnt figure it out....but i hope i can get this up and going. I like this pic of me (besides the freckles) because its summer, the beach in the background...its nice. When stuff from my life comes up i will add pictures...the other one is me and my girl Leah when we went on a hike to "elfin lakes" this summer, defentily an experience as we got lost and sun burnt to the core.
